PREGNANCY NOTE
Pregnancy, also known as gestation, is the time during which one or more offspring develops inside a woman. A multiple pregnancy involves more than one offspring, such as with twins.
Pregnancy usually occurs by sexual intercourse, but can also occur through assisted reproductive technology procedures (which is also reliable).
You're most fertile at the time of ovulation (when an egg is released from your ovaries), which usually occurs 12 to 14 days before your next period starts. This is the time of the month when you're most likely to get pregnant. It's unlikely that you'll get pregnant just after your period, although it can happen.
it is merely impossible for a female to get pregnant from oral sex. Their is no way for semen to pass from mouth to uterus or eggs. Oral Sex is one way for people to have "sex" without getting pregnant
Your chance of becoming pregnant from pre-cum may be slim, but it can still happen. Sperm can still be present in the urethra and mix with pre-cum that's released before ejaculation.
A boy can get a girl pregnant the first time he has sex. If you’re female and have sex, you can get pregnant as soon as you start ovulating (releasing eggs). This happens before you have your first period.
Sometimes a pregnancy test is able to find pregnancy hormones in your urine as early as 10 days after unprotected sex. But these results aren't super reliable, and you may get a false positive or false negative test result.
Your baby inside of you
About 1 in every 2,000 babies are born with teeth. These are loose natal teeth and sometimes need to be removed by a doctor. They can be painful for the mother during breastfeeding.
The sex of a baby is determined by whether the sperm that fertilizes the egg carries the X or Y version of chromosome 23.
i.e the sex of the baby is determined by the father and NOT by the mother.
The last organ to develop in the baby is the lungs.
Baby bumps make people smile
It’s not scientifically proven, but you just have to look at the number of people who smile when they see your belly to know it’s true.
Your Body And Mood During Pregnancy
The uterus can expand greatly during pregnancy. During the first trimester, it’s about the size of an orange. By the third trimester, it expands to the size of a watermelon.
Your voice can change during pregnancy. That’s because hormonal changes can cause your vocal folds to swell. It will most likely go back to normal after delivery or breastfeeding.
A large majority of women get stretch marks. If you’re carrying multiples, a big baby or have an excess of amniotic fluid, your chances of stretch marks are higher. Creams and oils may help reduce stretch marks. Be careful not too gain too much weight too rapidly.
Pregnancy is a metabolism booster, Pregnancy improves your metabolism to compensate for your weight gain.
Moms-to-be can start producing breast milk just 14 weeks into their pregnancy.
Pregnancy is simultaneously the scariest and most amazing period of any parent’s life, because it pretty much means that their lives are going to change forever.
